This semi-postal series, titled "Für den Sport 1994" (For Sport 1994), was released by the Deutsche Bundespost on February 10, 1994. Surcharges from this set benefit the Stiftung Deutsche Sporthilfe, an organization supporting social tasks across various sporting fields. The four commemorative stamps were designed by Professor Fritz Lüdtke and feature a specialized Bonn first-day cancellation.
